The Hole Punch Plier is used to cut half moon shaped hole at the gingival margin of the clear aligners. These half circles permit the addition of bonded buttons, bonded orthodontic tubes or brackets with associated hooks or as simply used to relieve impingement of plastic on soft tissue.
